So, I've totally blogged about moose before. But it was kinda a boring post, cause I've seen so few moose in my days. You can read it here... But seriously it would be so much better after my weekend a few weeks ago. Me and some friends drove over Trail Ridge Road to Grand Lake Colorado. An adorable little town! (My car nearly died, but that is a story for another time. The west side of Rocky Mountain is where one finds the moose!
It was great we saw four, and one was a baby! It was adorable, they kinda have a hump. The first one we saw was off in a meadow. They like those marshy areas. Then just outside of Grand Lake there was one hiding in the bushes. Honestly if there wouldn't have been a bunch of cars, we probably wouldn't have seen it. Then just inside the park by a stream and an old cabin was a mama and her baby! We stayed for quite some time watching them!
