Wild Thing: Jellies

Yeah, yeah, I know what you're gonna say, Jellyfish... again... Yeah, so what's your point exactly.  I love jellyfish, love them so much, it isn't even funny!  I have more than just the Monterrey Jellies anyways.  I've waxed poetic about them before, so I guess this is just one for simple enjoyments.  There was a Jellyfish exhibit in the aquarium at the Mall of America (MOA) and my sister and I naturally went.

Jelly, Jelly, Jellyfish

Alright since water creatures make me really, really happy!  And in recent years, the good old jelly fishie has intrigued me.  They are floaty and kinda creepy.  There is something I like about them, something ethereal, something effortless.  But at the same time, there is something haunting about them.  Like ghosts of the sea, invisible, sometimes dangerous, something remarkably and wholly different.

Sourrounded by Water

"Cannery Row in Monterey in California is a poem, a stink, a grating noise, a quality of light, a tone, a habit, a nostalgia, a dream." John Steinbeck: Cannery Row.

So I have finally gotten around to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium.  Not sure I why I was putting this one off.  Probably because there are so many pictures of the joint.  So the Monterrey Bay Aquarium is at the end of Cannery Row in Monterey California.  It is housed in an old cannery.  So it has a very unique feel to it.
