So I was going through my pictures, I've been doing that lately. I was looking at my trip to the Mississippi River Aquarium in Dubuque Iowa, and while I love the albino alligator, the frogs where what called out to me. So cute! I am pretty sure I've got frogs from several different trips. But hey I guess we'll find out together. The only ones I could find were from Iowa and one lone frog from a butterfly garden in Malaysia... odd.
My journey through life in pictures. Mostly raw and as unedited as life can be.

Wild Thing: Creepy Crawlies
Velvet Ants |
Going through my pictures I have found a bunch of bugs. I am not a huge bug person, they are kinda creepy. Sometimes they are interesting and like to get pictures of them. Well so long as they are behind glass... I like them that way. Yeah, I am a girl... what of it!
Some sort of Malaysian Beetle |
Scorpion |
Grasshopper from the Grand Canyon |
Grasshopper from Malaysia |
Black Widow |
So I have a bad habit of taking pictures of flowers that have bugs on them. They are really cool and I never notice the bugs. I am trying to figure out how this happens. Cause I am sure if I tried I would never manage it. It is kinda funny. And this is the only one I can find that is any good. Pretty sure I've lost several over the years.

Down River to Iowa
Dubuque Iowa |
...Picture it, Iowa, Fall 2008...The Mississippi River Museum! Sadly, I don't have an of the pictures from the Field of Dreams. Those are with my sister, but I might be able to get my hands of a copy or two for a future post!
Yippie! Casino Boats! |
Dubuque is awesome, probably my favorite place in Iowa. It is an awesome little city. They have some wonderful casinos, and museums. Oh, and the field of dreams is only about a half an hour away.
albino 'gater |
Spent a lot of time at the Mississippi River Aquarium. It is a wonderful place. I am a big fan of aquariums in the sense that there is so much about the world that can be learned in them. They are a great place and the things you see there are totally awesome. And things that you don't see anywhere else! But don't mind me, I am a nerd...
Not only was it cool for the river life, but the boat museum was kinda cool too. It was a dredger, and if you live on a river and see them in action or grew up with my father, you'd probably find that cool. (apparently I like the word cool right now...)
And this was just cool! |
